Receiving Requirements:


    A. How to prepare your shipments


Note - Required by all Atomix Clients. If you are not on the Atomix Platform Plan, you'll only prepare your products based on the following steps: 


  • Each box, pallet, or container must be sent to the following address:

Additionally, please provide the below notes to your manufacturer or shipper:


  1. Delivery Note: Enter on 22nd Street - Double Dock Doors under Massive Overhang
  2. Contact Atomix @ 414-231-0788
  3. Delivery Window: 9:00am-5:00pm M-F
  4. No Lift Gate Access - Special Request Only



  • Each SKU must be packaged in its own packaging.


  • Each box should only have one SKU.

    •  If not, SKUs must be properly separated and designated in their own packaging.

    • If you're unsure, please notify your Account Manager to confirm or additional handling fees will be applied.

    • The Atomix Team is more than happy to help guide you on how to prep boxes so feel free to reach out at any point!


  • Each item should be barcoded

    • However, this is not a requirement. If you’d like Atomix to barcode the product on receipt, we’ll do so (for $.20 a label)

    • This process increases inventory tracking accuracy.


  • Each box must be explicitly and clearly labeled with the (i) SKU - (ii) the number of boxes per SKU - (iii) the number of items in the respective box.

    • For example, 

      • REDHAT - 1 of 15 - 50; 

      • REDHAT - 2 of 15 - 50; 

      • FLAG-L - 1  of 2 - 20; 

      • FLAG-L - 2 of 2 - 20.  

  • Email team@atomixlogistics.com with the Subject Line: "Warehouse Shipment" and in the Body include:

    • the tracking number, 

    • the PO (typically includes what’s inside the shipment), and 

    • the estimated delivery date.

FAQ:

How do you maintain inventory quality control?

Our receiving process includes two-step verification. First, once the Warehouse Shipment (WS) arrives at our facility, the WS enters our Receiving Station (RS). At the RS, our team confirms the WS SKU Quantity matches the BOL (or Shipment List) via RFID. Second, the Inventory is distributed to their Identified Location and our System confirms the SKUs location matches the receiving WS.

 Are there any costs for receiving?

Yes - Your Customer Success Manager has access to your pricing.

Why create a receiving in the first place?

Imagine several boxes of a product are dropped off. No one recognizes the item, there's no account name ascribed to the boxes. Without a proper receiving protocol in place, managing inventory would be challenging and disorganized. For that reason, a receiving is necessary to ensure that your inventory is identified and processed properly.

 Are there any best practices that you recommend?

We recommend that all of your goods have outer packaging so as to prevent damage and/or becoming dirty. This is especially true of all apparel.
